申请人H1b已经max out 6年，在申请h1b延期时，因为PD已经current，所以只申请到了1年的extension。申请人2020年在公司A获得了I-140，并在一年后离职进入公司B，最近在公司B也获得了I-140。目前申请人的PD已经current，所以准备提交485。现在的问题是：如果出于某种原因，485被deny或者无法及时回复RFE，所以想要再次提交485，那么申请人需要在此期间维持合法身份。假设绿卡排期没有发生倒退。请问：
1. 如果第一份485在PD current一年内被deny，第二份485在PD current 一年内被file出去，这个情况下，可以继续申请1年H1b延期吗？
2. 如果第一份485在PD current一年后被deny，第二份485在PD current超过一年才file出去，这个情况下，可以继续申请1年H1b延期吗？
3. 如果#2的情况不能继续申请H1b延期，那么file第二份485后，H1B到期之后，该申请人还有在美国的合法身份吗？
