公寓室友不交房租，而我和我的丈夫早在6月份就搬走了，但是粗心一直没把自己的名字从lease上面抹掉，今天如果还不交，公寓方面会移交律师处理。想问一下，怎么做才能减少损失，甚至不支付房租？

因为您的名字在leasing contract 上，因此您就有义务去支付房租。想要最大程度的减少损失，您需要从您的室友那里去尽量多的recover，但是如果您和室友没有一个Agreement的话，应该是比较难做到的.

The lease obligates you to pay rent.  To minimize damage you need to pursue all options to recover rent from the roommate which could be difficult if you did not have a written agreement with him/her.
