I enrolled a University last October and used CPT credit to work for my current firm as an intern.
This year my current firm filed H1b petition for me and my petition got approved last month. My working visa had been officially effective on October 1st.
I plan to continue my study with this university but as a part time student going forward.
At same time I planned to take two weeks’ vacation at the end of this month (October) back to my home country and get my working visa stamp.
But when I was filling in DS160 yesterday, I am not sure where I should put my current university experience.
Since under “present work/education/training info” part, I added my current firm info and it did not allow me to add another line item for current education.
Under “previous work/education/training info” part, I realized that “date of attendance to” filed can’t take any FUTURE OR CURRENT date.
For now, I put it under previous education session and used last day of quarter Sept 30, since it didn't not allow me to put actual program ending date which will be end of next year.
And I have the option to leave this education experience out, since it will make my status illegal during past 12 months. Or I can?
So I am wondering if anyone can provide me some professional advice for my case.
