Traveling to China with 17 month stem but with 24 month stem pending

Can I travel outside of the U.S. With my approved 17- month STEM for two weeks and renew my F-1 visa? The 24-month STEM application is submitted on July 22, 2016 and still pending. Thanks!

您好，只要您17个月的OPT延期还是在有效期内的话，您是可以回国正常续签F1签证返回美国的。
