我想问一下有关申请24个月STEM OPT的问题。我的情况是这样的：OPT从去年3月25开始。我申请了17个月的OPT extension， USCIS在02/08/2016收到了我的I-765 Form，并于04/08/2016寄出了我的EAD Card. 现在的EAD到期为8/25/2017. 

对于I-983表格，section 1里有一个问题： STEM OPT Requested Period，这个不知道该怎么填写。官方给出的instruction是这样的：

"The F-1 student and the student's employer will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Form I-983, 'Training Plan for STEM OPT Students,' as of the date of receipt at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the requested period should identify a start date on or before proper filing at USCIS."  

不知道我该填写什么日期比较好？

另外在section3：employer information，start date of employment 应该填写我17个月opt extension的开始日期，还是和stem opt requested period的一致？

您好，您这种情况下申请的是7个月的extension，就是填写从08/26/17之后的7个月时间。Employer information里面的start date of employment 应该需要填写得是您在这个雇主处开始工作的时间。具体建议您再和学校的国际学生办公室确认一下。
